There are three type of customers required to register as a wholesale customer for becoming eligible to avail wholesale all in one app discount. We are listing below instructions for all these customers to register as a wholesale customers.
- Register new wholesale customer
- Register existing regular customer as wholesale customer
- Register existing regular customer as wholesale customer by importing from another store.
How existing regular customers are created?
Existing customers are created by 2 method:
- From Default account register page, Its account status is has an account.
- From Shopify New Customer form, Its account status is no account.
Register existing regular customer as wholesale customer
There are 2 methods for registering an existing wholesale customer:
Both methods have its own preferences. If you need any further details about customer, then Method #1 is preferable. But if you don't have need any extra information about customer, then you can use Methohd #2 for registering a wholesale customer. Let's discuss these methods one by one through examples.
Method #1: Wholesale application Method
Steps:
Go to the wholesale register page in which you embed wholesale form script. Normally default wholesale register page url is www.storeUrl.com/pages/register" . Fill all required fields and submit the wholesale form.

Go to Manage customer > Pending Approval > Select customer.
Finally In the customer details, Approve that customer by providing wholesale pricing tag.
Now that customer will become wholesale customer and will get wholesale all in one app discount.

Method #2: WITHOUT Wholesale application Method
In exisiting customer, need to check its customer account status,Customer account status usually are two types:

Customer account with 'has an account' status
When customer register from store default account register page, then this account become active by showing status has an account . Admin just need to assign wholesale pricing tag in this type of customer profile.

Customer account with 'No account' status
When customer account status is showing No account then you need to send invite email to customer for activate this account . Before send an email, you also need to assign wholesale pricing tag in this customer profile.
