Lets assume that you have already installed the "Advanced filters & search" application from Shopify app store. You can find the "Advanced filters & search" application under Shopify dashboard > Apps, as highlighted in this screenshot:
Automatically Install application to your theme:
1. From Advanced filters and Search, go to Installation tab.
2. Select the theme where you want to configure the App. We recommend you to install application on duplicate theme, not on live theme.
3. Click run setup
Select the theme on which you install the Advanced filters & Search application and press the Run Setup button. 
After few seconds you will see the success notification: 
Automatically Uninstall application from your theme:
1. From Advanced filters and Search, go to Installation tab.
2. Select that theme from which you want to uninstall the advanced filters & search application. The "Auto delete all files" button will appear if the selected theme contains filter files. Then press "Auto delete all files" button to remove the filter application code, this will remove the filter files and restore the theme default files automatically.
