Troubleshooting steps, when discount not applying
Giving a discount to any customer is securable thing, For this reason wholesale all in one app work based on some required configuration steps from preventing to apply discount to any irrelevent customers. That's way, you need to check basic steps for troublshooting, if discount not working on any page or to any customers , before contact with us.
Here is we have listed some basic steps for troublshooting:
Recommended Troubleshooting Steps:
- Check App is in test mode? it must be live mode
- Check App token should not be missing in the theme.
- Customer account must be active.
- Pricing rule tag must be in customer account.
- Customer must be logged in.
- Check email validity
Optional Troubleshooting Steps:
- Case #1: When multiple discount set for same collection or product based on same tag.
- Case #2: When actual product price update in shopify product section.
- Case #3: When product not exist in collection, on which collection based rule created.
- Case #4: Multiple rules tag should not exist in customer account.
Recommended Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Check App is in test mode? it must be live mode
If you have change wholesale app mode to live from test mode. Then Discount will not show to all customers. Make sure that app mode must be live mode.
2. Check App token should not be missing in the theme.
If you want to show discount on another new theme, then you need to put wholesale app token in this new theme by copying it from existing theme. But if you are using discount in new theme, then you need to put Token in it that is provided by wholesale team. If this token is missing, then no discount will be showing.

3. Customer account must be active.
Discount sometime not work, because you have created disocunt rule based on loin or customer tag based. In this case, any customer who login with not active account , will not recived any wholesale discount. You can see by check customer account. If in Customer profile, under the customer section, Has an account is showing or not.

4. Pricing rule tag must be in customer account.
Sometimes you have created rules based on tag based, and that tag not exist in customer profile. Make sure that discount rule tag must be exist in also customer.

5. Customer must be logged in.
Sometime you have created rules for only logged in customers. That's way, some customers approach your store products without login or they faced some problems during login process. Some login issue occur due to shopify capcha. Because Shopify Capcha restrict multiple times login attempts. That's way, You need to disable Shopify capcha for avoiding this issue.

6. Check email validity
Only valid email addresses are eligible for the discount on Shopify. The email should be spelled correctly and the domain associated with the email exists. You can check email validity here: https://email-checker.net/validate
Optional Troubleshooting Steps:
Case #1: When multiple discount set for same collection or product based on same tag.
If you have created multiple discounts rules on same collection or product based on same tag. In this way, due to rule priorty, only one rule will be working at a time, That's way your another discount rule will not work for that tagged customer.
Note, Can add multiple tags but make sure products are not common in different rules.
Case #2: When actual product price update in shopify product section.
You have already created disocunt rule based on fixed price. After some time, you changed Actual product price in shopify product section. In the way, Before updating, Product actual price was $50 and You were set wholesale set $40 fixed price in wholesale app disocunt rule. After that, You changed actual price from $50 to $30. In this way, Wholesale fixed price $40 become greater than actual product price. Discount will not work. Wholesale fixed price discount must be less than Actual product price.

Case #3: When product not exist in collection, on which collection based rule created.
Most of the case, You have created rule based on specific collection, on frontend you see that discount not showing on any product . In this case you need to check that this product must be exist in that specific collection, on which based you have created rule in wholesale all in one app rule.

Case #4: Multiple rules tag should not exist in customer account.
Sometime discount not showing, if in customer account exist more than one tags exist of multiple disocunt rules. In this case, Rule priority issue happened, only single rule will be applied and this customer will get this discount. Make sure that, Customer must have single discount rule tag.
