Test Mode Enabled
When Test Mode is enabled then the application features will not work for your live customers but your customers can still place regular orders like they do before wholesale app. Basically, Test Mode option allows the store owner to check the Wholesale application working before making it live to the customers.
In order to test the application working in Test Mode, Add the ?test-mode=yes parameter at the end of your website URL.
Examples:
- change domain address according to your website, highlighted in green.
www.YourSiteURL.com/?test-mode=yes
www.YourSiteURL.com/collections/all?test-mode=yes
www.YourSiteURL.com/pages/register?test-mode=yes
You will see the Preview Bar in when using application in TEST MODE:
- You can close the preview bar to see the website how it appears to the live customers.
Live Mode Enabled
When Live Mode is enabled then all the application features will directly apply to your live customers based on your configurations for Discount rules, Wholesale Registration form, Order Limit, Manage Shipping and Manage Lock etc.
How to switch between Test Mode and Live Mode
- To Enable Test Mode, Select the "Test Mode" radio button.
- To Enable Live Mode, Select the "Live Mode" radio button.
