This application stands out by offering the ability to set up discounts for both retail and wholesale customers, without being restricted to tag-based customer discounts only. You can configure discounts for the following types of customers:
All customers [Available only in Business Plan]
Discounted prices will be visible to all website visitors, regardless of whether they contain specific tags or whether they are logged in or not.
Only Guest customers [Available only in Business Plan]
Discounted prices will be displayed exclusively to customers who are not logged in to their accounts. Logged-in customers will not receive the discount price.
Only logged in customers [Available in All Plans]
Discounted prices will be shown only to customers who have logged in to their accounts. Non-logged-in customers will not receive the discount price.
Only Tagged customers [Available in All Plans]
Discounted prices will be presented solely to customers who meet the following criteria:
- They have an active account status [CLICK HERE to learn about active accounts).
- They are logged in as a customer.
- A matching customer tag exists that corresponds to the pricing rule.
Example: Suppose we apply a 10% discount for customers with the "wholesale" tag. In this case, all customers tagged as "wholesale" will receive the respective discount.
- Each tag represents a distinct customer group. Multiple customer groups can be created by assigning a unique tag to each group, such as 'VIP', 'Wholesale', 'Dealer', 'Contractor', etc.
- Different discounts can be assigned to different groups based on their tags.
- Tags are case-insensitive in both the discount rules and customer records, meaning uppercase and lowercase letters in tags are treated as equivalent. For instance, the tags "wholesale", "Wholesale", and 'WHOLESALE' hold the same significance.
