Available Pricing Visibility Methods

The Login to View Price add-on provides two methods to control who can view pricing on your store.

Method 1: Show Prices to All Logged-in Customers

This is the simplest setup and is recommended when all logged-in customers should be able to view prices after logging in.

Configuration Example:

Select the option All logged-in customers.

With this setup:

• Prices are hidden from visitors who are not logged in.
• Prices become visible immediately after login.
• Any logged-in customer can view prices and purchase products.

Guest Customer View:

You can also customize the message shown to visitors who are not logged in.

Examples:

• Login to view price
• Please sign in to view pricing
• Sign in to purchase products
• Wholesale customers only

Configuration Example:

Method 2: Show Prices Only to Customers With Specific Tags

This method provides more control and is commonly used for wholesale stores.

Configuration Example:

Select the option Logged-in customers with matching tag.

This option allows prices to be displayed only to customers who have a specific customer tag.

For example, if you use the tag wholesale:

• Guest visitors cannot view prices.
• Logged-in customers without the wholesale tag cannot view prices.
• Logged-in customers with the wholesale tag can view prices and place orders.

In simple words, only logged-in and wholesale tagged customers can see pricing.

Tag examples:

• wholesale
• distributor
• reseller
• vip

Customer View Without Required Tag:

You can also display a custom message or link such as Contact us to view price.

When customers click the link, they can be redirected to your registration form, wholesale application form, contact page, or any custom page of your choice.

Example:

A common workflow is:

1. Customer submits a wholesale application.
2. Store owner reviews the application.
3. Approved customers receive a customer tag such as wholesale.
4. Customer logs in.
5. Prices become visible.

All Products vs Selected Products

By default, Login to View Price can be activated for all products in your store. This option is compatible with all Shopify themes.

The Login to View Price feature can also be enabled for selected products instead of the entire store.

Please note that selected product support may not be available on all themes.
