Popular Example #1:
My plan is to have a retail and wholesale website.
I usually order all my products from Asia.
For my Retail side of things, I have enough inventory stored at home.
I am getting into wholesale because I have the option to order any product in large quantities.
However, I do not want to purchase inventory, before getting wholesale orders.
Is there a way to adjust wholesale and retail inventory separately?
So, wholesale customers can order as much as possible, and for retail customers to be limited to what I have in stock.
Popular Example #2:
Allow Wholesale Customers ( not the Regular ) to buy more quantity than available stock.
I would like my regular customers to be blocked from purchasing if we don't have inventory to fulfill it.
I would like my wholesale customers to be able to put any size of order. If we cant fulfill it we will put in an order to our manufacture and reach out to the customer telling them there will be a lead time for their order. We will leave the customer order in draft and then move it to fulfilled once inventory exists.
Currently I cant have both of those be true at the same time. If I let products sell when inventory is out it breaks regular customers. If I don't allow it, it wont let my wholesale customers buy more inventory than I have in stock.
